Our Controlling Risky Drugs Course, part of our employee drug-free workplace (DFWP) training, describes characteristics of psychoactive drugs. It examines how risky drugs are controlled, and why some drugs and drug use are illegal.
Learners who complete this course will be prepared to:
- Provide examples of the three types of psychoactive drugs and explain their characteristics
- Describe how risky drugs are identified and placed into different drug schedules by the DEA
- Explain why some drugs and drug use are illegal, including the misuse of prescription and over-the-counter medications
